About the project
Steven Crayne wrote poetry in college and dreamed of becoming a writer. Then life took over, and "someday" became an easy promise to keep making. At 68 he decided someday had waited long enough, and his first poetry collection, The Room You Kept Locked, comes out on November 1, 2026.
We built his site to feel like opening that door. Warm candlelight, parchment textures, a keyhole hidden in the title and classic serif typography give it the mood of a writer's study. Visitors read his story, discover the book and pre-order a signed copy, read featured poems, RSVP to his book signing and join the launch list, so every new reader becomes part of the journey. Designed and built from scratch on Wix Studio, fully responsive.
